Ms. Swati Salunkhe speaks about becoming a Mobile App Developer. As mobile phones have become as important as oxygen in our everyday living, so are the applications in the mobile. If there’s one evergreen job title for software developers that just keeps getting greener and greener, it would be Mobile App Developer. This usually refers to somebody who can design, build, debug, test, and maintain mobile applications for either Apple’s iOS or the Android platform. One needs a degree related to Computers i.e. computer science or IT or software engineering or computer engineering. While a degree in computer science is not strictly necessary, it can give you a foundation for the field. Mobile app development is a little different from general software development. To be a mobile developer, one must possess software development skills and knowledge of two or more programming languages, like SQL, Java, JavaScript, C# or C++. One can learn or start by developing one’s own app. Apps can be developed in various sectors right from the education, travel and tourism hospitality and many more.
