IELTS vs. TOEFL: Which should you take?

Many students are always curious to know the entrance exams required for studies abroad. In this episode, Kunjal Sakhrani focuses on the main entrance exams required for studies abroad i.e. SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and IELTS. SAT, GRE, GMAT is essential for the applications for various universities abroad. For some Universities, they are compulsory and for some it’s optional. SAT is required for bachelor’s courses whereas GRE and GMAT are required for the master’s course. They are mandatory tests for universities in the USA. SAT, GRE, GMAT has two components in the test -they assess the student’s skills for Verbal and Quantitative. These exams are conducted all over the world at various test centers and the scores are valid for five years. IELTS and TOEFL are English proficiency test, the asses the students proficiency in Reading, Writing, speaking and listening. It is compulsory exam for international students irrespective of the level of education they are planning to study in. The IELTS and TOEFL test are conducted at various centers in most of the countries on pre set time table.
